Hello !
My name is Lucas Chippaux, I am 18 years old and I am doing this project as part of my studies at the MMI department in Montbéliard.
The aim of the project "Notes for later" is to leave an imprint of our time. To understand the problems of our world and maybe propose solutions.
I chose to present a film, a music, a book, a place, a hope and a fear.
For the film, I chose "Blade Runner" by Ridley Scott, a feature film about a dystopian future and a critique of our current society. It's interesting to see the possible paths that man can take to reach this way of life.
As a book, I took "La gloire de mon père" by Marcel Pagnol, an autobiographical book which tells the story of the author's youth. This book is universal because of its subject matter: everyone can identify with Pagnol's anecdotes.
For the music, I chose a famous track by Daft Punk: "Veridis Quo". The power of this music is the fact of feeling emotions without any words.
For the location, I chose "Le centre Pompidou" because it is a precious place of contemporary art. I visited it and I found it interesting to see different creations of different artists and to see their visions of the world.
For hope, I think about global warming. It is a main problem of our society, and I hope that our generation or the next one can find a solution to this problem that affects us all. Art would also be a good way to educate and inform the youngest about this danger for humanity.
For the fear, I chose the misuse of new technologies, especially AI, which is evolving at great speed. This could lead to the end of certain professions, whether artistic or manual.
Of course, we live in a complicated world where many problems are present, but I have hope in our generation and the good thinking of some.
